CEtech Electronics Corporation Background

CEtech Electronics Corporation was founded in January of 1980 as an independent manufacturers representatives company specializing in RF/Microwave components and subassemblies covering Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C. Over a period of 23 years we built a reputation in supplying specialized and custom solutions for unique applications. In June of 2003 we ceased operations in the Maryland, Virginia territory as the owner, Tim Eyerman, moved the business to the southwest .  This move has also changed the focus of CEtech Electronics Corporation from being a traditional independent manufacturers representative firm to becoming a marketing and sales consulting company for RF/Microwave companies who want to enter the US Market.

The change to being a marketing and sales consulting company has been a natural evolution. In addition to managing CEtech Electronics Corporation for the past 23 years Mr. Eyerman has also been quite active in the Rep community in the Electronic Representatives Association (ERA) serving in most of the chairs of the association both locally and nationally and most recently internationally as the association’s Director of International Development. During his ERA tenure Mr. Eyerman developed relationships with hundreds of reps all over the world as well as many other electronic industry consultants and experts particularly in marketing, sales and advertising.

In 1984 Mr. Eyerman found a need in the industry to develop special products for then classified government applications that were not available from traditional manufacturers. To address these needs he founded EMICON CORPORATION.  From the beginning Emicon was patterned around a model that outsourced most of the operation including, engineering, production and sales. It wasn’t until the early 90s that Emicon had their own manufacturing facility in El Paso, TX. Mr. Eyerman ran the company from Maryland until his recent move to TX.  Mr. Eyerman diversified Emicon’s focus based upon their product expertise and strengths. Several years ago Emicon began to offer coil winding services and contract manufacturing services primarily for the CEtech principals. This has become a growing area of interest for the company.

The combination of years of experience in the rep industry both running a prosperous rep company and becoming an industry spokesman and expert, owning and managing a specialized manufacturing company and developing knowledge of the international market puts CEtech Electronics Corporation in the unique position of being able to help others who want to enter the US market.
